Abby Witers Christmas Do

Happy Christmas everyone - i'm really starting to feel that Christmasy vibe now. We had out Christmas party on Friday and it was a blast. I am very sorry that I was unable to get any footage of the actual party in the venue or at the bar we went to afterwards, it was far to dark for my flip and nothing useable came out of the footage I took.



We have free bubbled (my only weakness drinks wise) at the venue work had hired and then danced into the night at a local bar called the Water Wheel.  I'm only a small thing so was slightly squiffy when we left the free bar but being a good tight Northener stopped drinking when you had to pay so danced it all off before heading home.

I love myT-shirt it's perfect! So much for me worrying the computer guy who designed my perfect t shirt said he'd been hoping to get myself or Kylie as something pink and cute was always likley to win favoure - I hate that he was right but I will definatly be wearing that to work next week.

    You still delicious even when (very) slightly drunk, not to worry. Coders are pretty good at buying you stuff I reckon :) It's fairly easy to figure out your size from your wishlist, heh.

    You WANT snow? You'll be sorry if you get the same snowy xmas as last year in Amsterdam. LOTS of snow and cold, Kylie will be frozen by then.

  4. When I went out for drinks with colleagues after work, they all went off elsewhere while I was in the loo! I tried to find them, but gave up and bumped into friends and had a better time than I would have anyway.

    That was 11 years ago and even if I did go out this year I'd stay sober. This is fun when you can blackmail the rest on Facebook the next morning!

  5. Ha I agree it's always good to be the one who remembers and documents. Although I was adorably drunk (thanks John)when I made that video I danced it off and as able to tell Kylie (who remembers nothing) all about her hand going up one of our work mates skirt and all the kissing that went on!

    - for the record yep I joined in and snogged Kylie, one of the girls we work with and a lovely Australian who has been staying at our house but I was sobber and showing off :) xx
