The basket looks a bit sad without all the stickers Gaz's had so I am now collecting! I was going to try and use bits of Gaz to make a new bike but Amsterdam being what it is he was stollen before I had chance to walk him home :( Still I wouldn't be female if I didn't like the idea of buying new things to decorate with.
It takes a while in the vid before the clue-less viewer knows Colin and Gaz aren't people, bit scary when you say Gaz has died in that context :) Good thing I've been following this blog for a while, and yes you've mentioned the Colin accident some time ago.
ReplyDeleteSo you got a transporter-bike. Is the headlight blocked by the crate btw? Might want to get that looked at. (and where IS the rearlight?)
Doesn't like like a kids bike, is it really that small? What is your frame-size (basically inner leg length) ?
Two years isn't to bad, you could/should have done a bit of shopping around I suppose but if this bike gets you through a couple of months it pays for itself as in not-needing subway tickets;-) Don't worry about getting stickers on the new crate, summer is coming.
Where does the name Titch come from? Gaz I can understand, finally, but Tich..??

I know it wont be long till i get all kinds of advert stickers stuck to my basket but it still looks sad without them.
I have no idea how to measure the frame but I promise it is for kids - its all purple with sparkles!

Frame-height you need is either 49cm or possible 51cm (see http://www.gazellebikes.com/service/frame-size ), lower is safer 'cos you can crank saddle up 2cm usually, but never down :)
