I was hit by a car tonight !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I was hit by a car tonight 'while on the bike path' and thrown from my bike. Bellow is an accurate and true account of exactly what took place. Kylie H stands as witness to the whole event and said earlier that she confirms all!

    Whats even worse is that the reconstruction video took me all night and it is now 1am and I have work tomorrow!

    Aww, poor Masie. The car turned left/right and hit you while driving on straight bike-road, right? Double fault for the car then.

    Good thing you posted the comment with it, got all worried there. So you did survive more or less in-tact, right? Poppy not with you on bike?

Either way the car is the bad one of course, did you get police involved? (for damages anyway)

    OHHH Masie.... I hope you are alright???? Where do I join the long queue to kiss it better.
    It's looks very nasty from the very impressive reconstruction video... you have so many talents... surprise me all the time. Think you need to submit that with your police/insurance report :)
    What is it with you and bikes??? First it was a Swan... now a car... (cough cough... in best "mothers" voice... Masie... I really do think you should look at investing in a helmet.

    Ironically top of my current list are bike accessories!

    Poppy was safe and sound at home although slitly miffed not to get a longer walk when i got home that night.
    The car needed to cross the bike path to get to the smaller road beyond - it was my right of way and it would have been niceif it hadnt decided to go through me to get to this end.

    I didnt call the police or anything like that, althouhi often fantasise about having accidents and causing big scene i dont actually like causing them.

    Me and bike are both intaked just bit sore.

    Thank you so much to all of you for taking the time to wish me well - if nothing else the accident gave me a great post for the blog, so cross I didnt have my flip camera with me

      heh, that video still makes me laugh, it's cute. How did you draw all that, you got a draw-pad? 'cos doing that with a mouse must be hard.

      It's a pretty good drawing/movie, maybe you could become a game designer one day :)

    Ha your to kind Frans, I showed one of the boys at work and he asked if I had fallen into a 90s computer.

    It was all mouse drawn on good old paint brought to life on movie maker! Im not the best drawer in the world but I have always been able to amuse myself with my paint pictures. There is a woman who does a great blog using paint style pictures to decorate, it is another great example of someone who had forsite and brains to go there first x

    Bloody hell Masie, glad you survived intact. Everyone seems so chilled out in Amsterdam, didn't realise there were evil gits out there trying to run cute girls off the road!
